SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

Last updated: 14 August 2026

ArtJel is operated by Aria Aviation Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12129597.

ArtJel offers artworks, sculptures, handcrafted pieces, decorative objects, artisan products and other art and craft items. Due to the specialist, high-value and sometimes made-to-order nature of our products, shipping arrangements may vary depending on the item, its size and weight, its place of origin and the delivery destination.

1. ORDER PROCESSING AND SOURCING

Some products offered by ArtJel are specially sourced or procured following confirmation of a customer's order. Products may be supplied by artists, artisans, workshops, manufacturers or specialist suppliers located in the United Kingdom or internationally.

Certain products may also require production, finishing, preparation, specialist packing or crating before they can be dispatched.

The estimated preparation and delivery times provided to customers are therefore estimates unless a specific delivery date has expressly been agreed in writing.

2. SHIPPING ORIGIN

Products may be dispatched directly from the artist, artisan, workshop, manufacturer or supplier, or may be transported through the United Kingdom before final delivery.

Accordingly, customers should not assume that all products are dispatched from the United Kingdom.

The shipping origin and delivery arrangements for significant or high-value purchases may be confirmed separately in the quotation, order confirmation or Sales Agreement.

3. SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping charges depend upon factors including:

• size and weight of the product;
• delivery destination;
• packing or specialist crating requirements;
• freight or courier charges;
• insurance requirements; and
• any specialist handling required.

Where a shipping charge is displayed at checkout, that charge will apply to the order unless otherwise agreed.

For particularly large, heavy, fragile or high-value products, ArtJel may provide a separate shipping quotation or confirm the final delivery arrangements with the customer before the order is completed.

4. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

ArtJel may deliver products internationally.

International shipments may be subject to customs clearance, import procedures and requirements imposed by the destination country.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate information reasonably required for international shipment and customs clearance.

5. CUSTOMS DUTIES, IMPORT TAXES AND OTHER CHARGES

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, customs duties, import taxes, local taxes, customs clearance fees, brokerage charges and similar charges imposed in the destination country are NOT included in the product price or ArtJel's shipping charge.

These charges are the responsibility of the customer where permitted by applicable law and where they have been appropriately disclosed.

Customers purchasing internationally should therefore consider the possibility of additional charges being imposed by their local customs authority or other relevant authority.

ArtJel does not control the amount of customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by authorities in the destination country.

6. DELIVERY TIMES

Delivery times vary according to the product, availability, preparation requirements, packing or crating requirements, shipping origin and destination.

Any delivery time provided by ArtJel is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

International deliveries may also be affected by customs clearance, inspections, carrier delays and other circumstances outside ArtJel's reasonable control.

Where we become aware of a significant delay, we will take reasonable steps to inform the customer.

7. LARGE, HEAVY AND SPECIALIST ITEMS

Some ArtJel products, particularly sculptures and substantial artworks, may require specialist transportation and handling.

Before ordering such an item, customers should ensure that the intended delivery location is suitable and accessible.

The customer may be asked to provide information concerning entrances, door dimensions, staircases, lifts, loading restrictions, access roads or other relevant delivery conditions.

Unless expressly included in the customer's quotation or Sales Agreement, delivery does not include installation, mounting, assembly, positioning, lifting equipment or specialist movement of an item within the customer's property.

8. PACKING AND CRATING

Products will be packed appropriately having regard to their nature and the intended method of transportation.

Large, fragile or high-value products may require specialist protective packing or custom crating.

Where specialist packing or crating results in an additional charge, this will be communicated to the customer where applicable before the relevant purchase or shipping arrangement is confirmed.

9. RECEIVING YOUR DELIVERY

Customers are responsible for ensuring that somebody authorised to receive the shipment is available where a delivery requires attendance.

Customers should inspect the external condition of the packaging at the time of delivery where reasonably possible.

If the packaging appears significantly damaged, customers should photograph the packaging before opening it and retain the packaging until the condition of the product has been established.

10. DAMAGE IN TRANSIT

If an item arrives damaged, please contact ArtJel as soon as reasonably possible at info@artjel.com.

Please provide:

• your name and order number;
• photographs of the external packaging;
• photographs of any damage to the product; and
• a description of the damage.

Please retain the product and its packaging while the matter is investigated.

Prompt notification allows ArtJel to investigate the matter with the carrier, supplier, insurer or other relevant party.

Nothing in this policy limits or removes any statutory rights that a customer may have in relation to damaged, faulty or non-conforming goods.

11. FAILED OR REFUSED DELIVERY

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring reasonable access for delivery.

Where a delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect information supplied by the customer, refusal to accept delivery, absence where attendance was required, inadequate access, or another matter attributable to the customer, reasonable additional storage, redelivery, handling or transportation costs may be charged to the customer where permitted by law.

Refusing delivery does not, by itself, constitute a valid cancellation of an order.

12. OWNERSHIP AND RISK

Ownership and risk in products will pass in accordance with the applicable Sales Agreement, ArtJel's Terms of Service and applicable law.

Nothing in this Shipping and Delivery Policy transfers risk to a consumer earlier than permitted by applicable consumer law.

13. HIGH-VALUE ORDERS AND SALES AGREEMENTS

For high-value, specially sourced, commissioned, bespoke or specialist products, ArtJel may require the customer to enter into a separate Sales Agreement.

That agreement may specify the particular sourcing, preparation, packing, insurance, shipping, customs and delivery arrangements applicable to the transaction.

Where specific delivery arrangements have been agreed in a Sales Agreement, those arrangements will apply to that transaction, subject always to any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
